Astrid Liverman, Ph.D.

A Historian with the National Park Service, Astrid is the Intermountain Region National Historic Landmarks program lead. Armed with a Doctorate in Architectural History, she previously served as Preservation Planning Unit Director with History Colorado’s Office of Archaeology and Historic Preservation overseeing survey, designation, and preservation planning statewide and spearheading the Heritage Diversity Initiative. She previously acted as Architecture Branch Chief with the Hawai’i State Historic Preservation Division and as architectural historian with Mason Architects in Honolulu. Astrid serves as an Alliance for Historic Landscape Preservation Board member.
