Mr. Knoblock was appointed in July 2018 as Arizona Antiquities Act (AAA) Administrator and coordinator of Mandated Programs at Arizona State Museum (ASM). The position administers the AAA (A.R.S. § 41-841 et seq.), manages ASM’s Archaeological Records Office, oversees business services, and supervises operations of AZSITE, the state’s official electronic inventory of historic properties. Before this position, Mr. Knoblock served for six years as ASM’s Head of Operations. Prior to working at the University of Arizona, Mr. Knoblock worked in private industry as an environmental consultant and archaeologist for more than 20 years with project experience in Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada, Utah, Vermont, and New York.
