Kristina Hill is currently the Forest Archeologist and Heritage Program Manager for the Tonto National Forest. She has worked in cultural resource management for the private sector and federal government for more than 19 years. Kristina has been in her current position for over 3 ½ years. Prior to that, she was the Forest Archeologist on the Nebraska National Forests and Grasslands for four years. Before that, Kristina was the Zone Archeologist for the Salem, Potosi, and Fredericktown Ranger Districts of the Mark Twain National Forest for almost nine years. Kristina holds both a Master’s and a Bachelor’s Degree in Anthropology from the University of Missouri – Columbia, as well as certificates in bioarcheology and forensic anthropology.
