Matthew Guebard is the Chief of Resources at the Southern Arizona Office and the Chief of Cultural Resources at Montezuma Castle and Tuzigoot National Monuments. He specializes in the preservation and interpretation of cliff dwelling architecture in central Arizona. His research interests include earthen architecture, chronometry and the historical development of archaeology in the American Southwest. Matt has a B.A. in Anthropology from Butler University and a M.A. in Anthropology (emphasis Archaeology) from Northern Arizona University. Matt has worked for the National Park Service since 2006.
