Vic Linoff

Jay MarkVic Linoff has a more than four-decade career in preservation, local history and museum work. He was a founder and first chair of Mesa’s Historic Preservation Board, chair of the Arizona Historic Preservation Advisory Committee, advisor to the Tempe HPC, a member of the Tempe Historic Preservation Foundation Board and president of Mesa Preservation Foundation that was instrumental in saving Mesa’s iconic, Diving Lady neon sign. His varied achievements have been recognized by the Arizona Historical Society: Al Merito Award, the State Historic Preservation Office / Arizona Preservation Foundation: Governor’s Heritage Preservation Award, and the City of Mesa Historic Preservation Award for Outstanding Achievement: Lifetime Contribution.
