Wendy Bridges

With over 20 years experience in government, Ms. Bridges has held positions with Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office, City of Tempe and Yavapai County.  Ms. Bridges holds a degree in Management from Yavapai College, has completed the Economic Development program at University of Arizona, and is presently completing a degree in Public Management from Northern Arizona University.  Ms. Bridges earned an AZED Pro designation from AAED, and is a candidate for CEcD from the International Economic Development Council (IEDC).  Ms. Bridges is also a licensed real estate salesperson.  Ms. Bridges was named 2018 Economic Developer of the Year by Arizona Association for Economic Development (AAED). Ms. Bridges is an active member of key industry associations, such as IEDC and ICSC, while also serving in leadership roles with other organizations.  Currently, she is a Board member for AAED and the incoming Treasurer/Secretary, serving on the Governmental Affairs, Northern and Finance committees within this organization.  She also holds a seat on the Economic Development Council for the Northern Arizona Council of Governments (NACOG).  Most recently, she was appointed to the Yavapai Workforce Development Board by the Yavapai County Board of Supervisors.  Past leadership roles included two terms as chair of AAED Northern Committee, chair of the NACOG Tourism Committee, Prescott Area Leadership Board of Directors, and was a founding Board member for Prescott Area Young Professionals.
